Alex’s eagle project on 3/8 and 3/15 was on ice plant removal, where ice plant was removed to make way for native plants. In total, 14 scouts and 10 adults from our troop showed up, and along the way, a middle school and a random biker came along and helped on Alex’s project as well! In summary, around a ton of ice plant and other invasive species were removed from the ground and 5000 square feet along the Colma Creek coastline was cleared.
