Date: Sun 16 February 2014
NOTE NEW DATE!
Sorry of all the date changes: Reserve America once again goofed up our reservation, but we should be good this time
Summary: This is a great opportunity to see our Northern Elephant Seals doing their breeding behaviors. It is a 3 mile hike for the seals and I will also spend some time with those who need to learn local flora and fauna for advancement after the hike. If you want to spend some extra time, please pack a lunch. The seal walk will be about two hours, and goes ahead rain or shine, so dress for the weather and bring water and your 10 essentials. There may also be a possibility for a longer hike in the afternoon to add to your hiking miles.
Time: Hike is at 9:30 AM sharp at the park. Meet at the library at 7:30 AM for carpooling.
Cost: $7 per person; $10 per car to park
We are Full! Please email Ms. Bonneville if you wish to get on the waiting list.
