Boulder Creek
The troop 175 campout at Boulder Creek went well. Scouts worked on a variety of requirements including totin chip and firem’n chit requirements plus lashing requirements. We also had a competition where we identified plants and did lashings. It rained a lot through Saturday night, but overall everyone seemed to have fun.

Backpacking Point Reyes
The backpacking trip at Pt. Reyes went very well. There were two groups. One for beginners, which was about 10 miles total, and one for intermediate hikers, which was about 20 miles total. At the campsite the troop saw the beautiful ocean through the fog and ate great meals. Overall it was a great trip full

Wente 2025
Won 2nd place in both Heat 2 and Heat 3 of Wentathalon. Additionally, Mr. Kothari completed the Mile Swim! Gabriel & Mr. Barbutti were his rower/spotter.

Whitewater Rafting 6/6-6/8
The annual Whitewater Campout took place from June 6th to 8th, 2025. Participants in Class 4 rafted on the Middle Fork of the American River, while Class 3 participants rafted on the South Fork. Scouts in Class 4 departed from the library at various times on Friday, June 6th, and stopped for dinner along the

Backpacking Trips 5/17-5/18
Two parties, one of 8 miles each way, one of 5 miles each way. Both groups started their hike ~11am. No navigation issues on 8-mile trip, minor errors on 5-mile trip, although simple and non-notable. 5-mile arrived around 3, 8-mile around 3:30. Both parties set up tents together, under stress of heavy 20mph winds. No
