Whitewater Rafting – Class 3
Date: Sat, Jun 04, 2022 Time: 7:00 AM – June 05 12:00 PM Location: Whitewater 2022 – Motherlode Campground Address: 6260 Hwy 49, Lotus California 95651 Rating: Class 3Distance: 14 milesCost: $160 rafting, (includes cost of 1 night camping, rafting, outfitter lunch, pictures and food/supplies contribution.) $40/night for campers only, including food/supply contribution. American River – South Fork GorgeOutfitter “Action Whitewater Adventures” There are (2) Whitewater Trips. This “South Fork – Gorge” trip leaves early June 4th, Saturday morning ~ 7:00am and returns Sunday afternoon, including one night of camping. This is the beginner/moderate Class 3 portion of the river and suitable for strong swimmers at least 9 years old. The more intense class 4 trip, arrives the previous evening, is limited to those 14+ and has camping for 2 nights. American River White Water Rafting in the heart of the Gold Rush country. The South Fork of the American River is the most popular river in California, and for good reason. Ideal for groups, families or first-timers, exciting class 3 rapids alternate with calm stretches for practicing new skills or enjoying a swim. Cascading its way from the Sierras and flowing through the town of Coloma, where gold was discovered in 1848, the river tumbles through beautiful scenery rich with history and wildlife. Rim of the Bay Hike

Pack 447 AOL Bridging Ceremony
Date: Sat, Apr 30, 2022 Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM Location: Gull Park (Across from Audubon) Address: Gull Ave, Foster City, CA 94404 Pack 447 is holding their annual bridging ceremony and Troop 175 will welcome new scouts to our troop! All are welcome to attend, although those holding PLC leadership positions are strongly encouraged. As the Scouts walk across the “monkey bridge”, we will welcome them to the troop and affix the epaulettes, neckerchief and slide to their uniforms. After the short bridging ceremony, we will help them celebrate with a BBQ/Picnic – yum!
