It’s more than a 3hr drive so the plan is to drive up Friday and camp Friday night at a National Forest campground picking up the canoes in Arnold along the way. Then we’ll be able to get an early start on Saturday and canoe to a wilderness location to camp. We’ll spend Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning exploring the lakes by canoe and may get to experience portaging canoes between the lakes. We’ll have a good campfire on Saturday night and enjoy the stars.
