One dozen anglers set out on this weekend trip to Lake Del Valle and Los Vaqueros Reservoir. The fishing was “okay,” the food was better and sleeping under the stars without tents was best. Those looking to complete the fishing merit badge have yet to catch the elusive fish, although the requirements do state they may “acquire a fish and cook it,” but what’s the fun in that!
