Description: Fun, short backpacking trip. Ideal for those wanting to try out backpacking but open to all. We need at least 4 older, experienced scouts to guide.

We’re hiking ~2 miles to the Redwood Backpack Camp.

Pack check for Scouts and adults 7pm on Wednesday October 26. Bring all gear (not food and water) packed for the trip. We will empty packs and check against the list we provided.

We will be cooking by patrol (adults, you’re in the Geezer patrol!) so patrols will need to get together to plan food and equipment needs at least 2 weeks before the trip.

Cost will be $10 per person plus cost of food (patrols can split cost of food among themselves).

We’ll stop for lunch on the way back (In’n’Out or similar) so bring some money for that.

We should be back at the Library by 2pm on Sunday October 30.
