Join your fellow Boy Scouts from PacSky Council for a fun weekend in and on the snow! Featured events include Sled Race, Jumbo Ski, Snowshoe Relay, Spear Throw, Fire Building, Snowball Toss, Ice Rescue, and Moon Ball.

Opportunity to build and sleep in your own snow shelter if you choose.

Packing list:
Use the cold weather car camping list on our website plus following additional items for snow camping:
One large waterproof backpack/duffel bag (avoid multiple pieces of luggage). Use ‘trash compactor’ bag inside your backpack if it’s not waterproof.
1 Extra complete set of dry warm clothes to leave in car for ’emergency’ use.
2 sleeping pads are recommended (insulation from snow)
2 ‘mummy’ style sleeping bags, or one very low temp rated bag (0F or, ideally, lower). Needs to have hood to cinch around head.
2 pairs of waterproof gloves or gloves plus waterproof shell.
2 warm hats
4 pairs of warm socks – wool or synthetic
Thermal underwear, long sleeve/legs, wool or synthetic
1 Small tarp (~6’x4′)
Sunglasses, sunblock are **mandatory**
Snow boots/waterproof boots
