When: 9/28-29, 2013
Where: Lake Tulloch
Event: Webelos Weekend/Fishing and Boating
Trip Summary: We left in two shifts from the FC Library, one in the morning and
one afternoon. We set up camp and provided all of the tents and food for the
Webelos. During the day we took shifts bringing people boating and tubing.
Sometimes we went single-tubing and other times several people rode the banana
tube, which was completely wild! No one did any trolling but some people got to
fish. The first day, we had sandwiches for lunch and Hobo Packets for dinner. There
were a few too many Hobo Packs for the fire size we had, so we made a second
fire. Christian and I each did a communications merit badge requirement. I did the
evening campfire program and Christian did a morning interfaith worship service.
On Sunday, there were also two return shifts, some leaving in the morning and
others stayed until afternoon. All together there were about 40 scouts and adults on
this trip including the Webelos and their parents.
