We had a great time stepping back in time to see what it was like when pioneers roamed the frontier. Our scouts learned frontier mountain man skills and did authentic activities including: Archery, Black Powder Rifle Shooting, Tomahawk Throwing, Rope Making, Candle Making, using Flint and Steel, Steel trap setting, and Making Bullets, by visiting stations manned by men and women dressed in period clothing.   We cooked our own delicious meals (planned by Jacob N.)   and had a fantastic time.   Highlights were the tomahawk throwing (apparently if you are a lefty you are better at it 😉 ), candle making (candles were great for starting campfires) and the soft-serve ice cream Saturday afternoon.
