Summary: Mark your calendar for this event! It’s going to be super fun! On January 28th, instead of our regular troop meeting, we will be going to Planet Granite for some rock climbing fun.
The cost for boys aged under 14 will be $14 and the cost for boys aged 14 or older and adults will be $20.
We need belayers!! These are the people who hold the ropes while the climbers scale the walls. Belay training takes an hour and is offered at Planet Granite seven days a week (weekday evenings and weekends all day). The troop has offered to reimburse the cost of Belay training.
Email or call Mrs. O’Brien as soon as possible if you are already belay trained, or would like to take belay training. We would like to get an idea of how many people can belay the climbers, and arrange training.
Boys: please wear your red Class B shirts to this event.
