Summary: This is a service event for our chartering organization, The Rotary Club of Foster City. As required by our charter, we will be working with the Rotary Club of Foster City to provide maintenance for the Roses in Leo J. Ryan park and the Roses at the Library. We will be working with other Rotarians to deadhead and remove the leaves on the rose bushes to force them into dormancy. Wear your class B uniforms, with a long sleeve shirt underneath. Long pants are highly recommended. Many of the rose bushes are very old and have thorns more than an inch long. Protective clothing is a MUST. Please bring work gloves with you. Dress appropriately for the weather. |
