Scouts met at the library at 7:00am and left slightly late, at around 7:45am. They arrived at Iron Mountain Sno Park around 11:30am, and began to set up camp after a quick snow shoe in. Scouts set up tents and began piling snow for quinzees, before having lunch. Scouts finished their quinzees shortly after dark, and all but 2 scouts decided to sleep overnight in their snow shelter. After packing up the following day, scouts had a snowball fight and went sledding nearby. Scouts thought that the meals were successful, but they could have used more planning, communication, and mastery of white gas stoves.
