Troop 175’s annual opportunity to earn your BSA Swimmer classification. Swim classification is required for most aquatic events associated with the BSA.
Scouts, Scout leadership and Family who…
a) Plan to attend the Whitewater Rafting
b) Never completed a swim classification test
c) It’s been more than one year since you last tested
THIS TEST IS REQUIRED. It’s also REQUIRED for ALL Summit Bechtel attendees. It’s recommended for anyone planning to do any BSA aquatic events as most require the swimmer classification.
Note that if you plan to attend Wente, they will retest you for swimmer classification at camp Wente.
Please sign up if you will be taking this test. Once signed up, we will provide you with a SPECIFIC 10min time slot between 1:00 pm – 2:45PM as the actual test only takes about 10 minutes. Please note that there is a $7 fee, per person to cover the cost of the Pool rental and Lifeguard. Everyone will be assigned to their own swim lane, unless they are family. Family will share swim lanes.
Please update the comments section for each Scout, with the #of family members who will also take the swim test. If you have a need for a specific time between 1-2:45pm, please note it in the comments section and we will make every attempt to accommodate.
