Some scouts went one day early to help set up the events for other scouts the next day. Those scouts met at the library at around 6:30pm on Friday and arrived at the campsite at around 9:00pm. The next morning they woke up early and made breakfast. They started helping the adults with anything they needed. The other scouts then started arriving at around 11:30 and there was an opening ceremony with a flag raising. The scouts then split into groups to complete requirements, like building a fire, tying knots and lashings, raising the flag, and nature-related topics. This took up most of the day on Saturday, but there was a campfire in the evening. Scouts prepared skits, a Jeopardy game, and lots of jokes. The campfire ended with vespers and scouts went to sleep at around 10:30pm. The next morning, scouts woke up and made breakfast, packed up camp, did a camp sweep, and ended with roses and thorns, all before going home to watch the Super Bowl.
