This Monday, many new scouts bridged over from pack 447 to our troop. I would just like to extend our warmest welcome to these new scouts! I hope they find as much joy in scouting as I have.

In addition, last Saturday, the Gremlins patrol participated in a social distancing backpacking trip around Foster city, marking one of the first outdoor events since social distancing protocols started. Many scouts got around 9 miles of backpacking in, while some others and our scoutmaster, Mr. Dickinson, got up to 18 miles in one day.

Other recent events include a Court of honor, the first online virtual one ever in the troop, as well as the ongoing troop meetings we are having each week. This month is wilderness survival, a fun one, so be sure to attend!
