The Foggy Trails Hike took place on June 27 at El Corte de Madera Creek Open Space Preserve. The hike was a relaxed 5-mile trek with some elevation, giving Scouts a good opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while getting some exercise. The weather was pleasant, although the trails were a little muddy from previous rain.
During the hike, two Scouts were able to complete a navigation requirement, putting their map and navigation skills into practice. Scouts also spotted many banana slugs along the trail, adding a fun and memorable part to the experience. Overall, the hike was a great success, and the Scouts thoroughly enjoyed the time spent exploring the trails and enjoying the outdoors together.
